Ammonia Leak in Iraq Leaves Two Dead

(MENAFN) Two laborers lost their lives and three others sustained injuries after an ammonia gas leak in northeastern Iraq, according to a news agency.

Civil defense units managed to rescue 19 individuals from the site following the incident, Iraqi security officials said on Sunday.

Authorities confirmed that an inquiry has been launched to identify the cause of the leak, the report added.
